Battle of the Books
Battle of the Books club encourages elementary students to read quality literature in a variety of genres. Students in this club will participate in games, discussions, and other activities related to books selected from the current Sunshine State Young Readers Award list. In March, any student in the Battle of the Books club may choose to take a test to qualify for a position on one of three Battle of the Books teams. Each team will then participate in a school battle for a chance to represent Bauder Elementary at the Pinellas County Regional Battle of the Books competition in April. Competition is NOT required to participate in this club. Anyone interested in reading great books with friends is welcome!
